The attendance today is fairly good
and It is eipected that many more
people will be in town Friday and
Saturday than today. The South O
maha crowd, without whom t.li
stockmen's convention at Alliance
would never be quite complete, ar
rived this morning, as stated in an
other column where a list of their
names is given.
Mr. Cooper, the aviator, is here,
accompanied by his assistant. lie
made a irinl flight before breakfast
this morning in his Curtis biplane.
It worked fine. He will make three
flightB this afternoon and also Fri
day and Saturday afternoons. The
exact time that the flights will be
made cannot be stated, as the bird
man wHl fly at such times in the
afternoon as he thinks conditions are
most, favorable.
