The ladles of the Methodist church
gave a Hallowe'en party In the base
ment of the church. They report a
good crowd and a fine time, although
the weather wa a little cold, keep
ing a good many of the country peo
ple at home.
Mr. and Mrs. Thad Warren came
in Thursday from their homestead
In Sioux county. They expect to
say In town for some time.
Mrs. Emll Rockey gave ft Hallow
e'en supper to a few of her young
lady friends on Wednesday, in hon
or of her slater. Miss Elizabeth Dice.
