NORTON'S
Mr. N. P. Dodge, Jr. of the uJl
known real estate firm of N. P. Dodge
& Co of Omaha, arrived in Alliance
with his salesman and engineer to, put
on a sale of the lots in the now -Belmont
addition to Alliance. The lots
are all staked and the pi ice tag is on
every stake. Every lot is .sold forvotfe
dollar cash payment and the balance
is paid at the rate of fifty cents per
week, no interest is charged, and the
taxca are paid by the present owners
until the lots are paid for.
"In this way." said Mr. Dodge, "we
enable hundreds of home buyers and
investors to start owning their own
homes or a piece of real estate which
will increase in value while they are
paving for it. We have sold thousands
of lots on these very easy terms, and
many mothers and fathers buy lots for
their children or themselves, as it is
easier to save money in fixed amounis
and by regular payments, and one, is
not tempted to open the little savings
banks or go to the bank and draw the
money out. By paying 50c or .&
week ou become the owner of one or
two lots and it cannot run away.
"As soon as the purchaser comes to
the addition, selects his or her lo.
pays down a dollar and gets our con
tract; he or she can build at once or
sell the lot again. Many buyers make"

Great Preparations
The opening day of the second an
nual Box Butte county fair is less than
a week away and the fair management
js now confident that when the gates
are open to the people of western Ne
braska, Wednesday, September 21, it
will be to view the largest and most
complete exhibit ever shown in this
section of Nebraska.
A large force of men have been at
work for some time past, making im
provements upon the grounds, and to
day there js not a county fair associa
tion in the state that can boast of more
beautiful and adequate accomodations,
Since last year's fair, a new grand
stand, fully as large as the first, has
been added to the equipment' In the
rear of this roomy building many
thousands of square feet of space will
be utilized for exhibit purposes. One
of the most interesting exhibits here
will be the Box Butte county exhibit
shown exactly as set-up at the recent
state fair. At Lincoln, many thous
ands of people viewed this exhibit each
day, and to a majority of the visitors,
not familiar with the possibiltics of
this western country, it was a reve
lation. While, naturally such an ex-
j hibit will not occasion this feeling of
surprise, on the other hand it should
cause a feeling of great satisfaction
that we live in a country possessing
such a wonderful future-
The management has been stead
ily at work for months that this fair
shall be a real unquestioned success.
The most noted speakers in tho state
have promised to deliver addresses and
ample entertainment in the way ot
races and free attractions have been
provided. No effort or expense has
been spared and the continued co-operation
of the people of this county will
certainly mean a bigger and better fair
each succeeding year.
