Mr. nnd Mrs. Cal Wildy relumed Tues day from their eastern trip, Mr. and Mrs. Enycart returned from Lincoln where they have been visiting. Dan Watson is going to Omaha with Ben Johnson's cattle. John Anderson and Fred Melic are buy ing another carload of horses. Mr. and Mrs. Carl were in Alliance one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Murphy of Alliance were here last week on a visit to Uncle Robert Anderson. Rev. Kuhler has been returned to the church for another year. Chas. Lockwood shipped two cars of cattle Monday. Johnston, the horse buyer, shipped four cars of horses Monday. Mrs. Davison has taken rooms in Al liance so Miss Susie can attend school this winter. Pete Spracklen is now home from his western trip and reports having a pleasant time. Miss Emma Nerud went to her home stead at Minalare and returned last Sat urday. Mrs. Hood Is here visiting Mrs. Roy Hickey while Mr. Hickey has gone cast. Mr. Schlaman has found a location at Ft. Collins. Den Johnson shipped 12 cars of cattle Tuesday. He had a special train. Mr. and Mrs. Grimes of Iowa, friends of Mr. Loer are here trying to find a suit able location. Ed Wildy and wife have moved to town and are living in William Foskett's house. Mrs. Floyd, formerly Miss Edna Katen, is home -from Billings, Mont., for a two weeekV visit. Prof. Deaver's brother is here staying with him and is going to attend school this winter. Mrs. William Currey nnd son Robert went to Chadron to the fair and to visit her relatives for two or three weeks, Mr. Curry and Miss Nellie went later. The McClusky Bros, have a full force working on tho now opera house now. The scenery and curtains have come and they are going to rush tho rest of the work, Mr. Iodenco and daughter were in town last week and the town had grown so ho had to have a guide, Mr. Uhrig, to go with him from place to place. Mrs. Roy Hlckey's little baby boy ac cidentally fell from his rocking-horse and tho result proved to be a broken arm. Mrs. Hickey was quite badly frightened and took the child lo Dr. Little. While cutting corn Pete Swanson's team ran away and one of them, a three-year-old colt, was so badly cut it had to be killed. They thought a groat deal of the colt and it was quite a loss to them.
