Thoy say they like it very much on their ranch but it takes a whole day to como to town, A heavy hail storm passed this way last Saturday and threshed all tho oats on tho Gregory ranch before it was cut. The storm also struck Ed Hornor's and S, Trussoll's ranches doing lots of damage. Another homesteader in Dawes Co. Last Friday morning a young man ap peared at tho homo of Tom Baucks and wished to be located on one of tho best sections in Dawes county, but ho not being of ago, will have to wait 21 years before ho can tako a claim. Ho is a handsome fellow and weighs six pounds, Hashman Notes. Mr. Loer was threshing the fore part of tho week, George Key was seen taking some cattio to town Monday. A new schoolhouso is being erected in the Hashman district. Miss Mildred Nichols has been on the sick list for a few days, Mr. and Mrs. Ross returned home from Sioux county Sunday evening. Sunday school in tho Unity church will bo at half past two next Sunday. Mrs. JcBsio Key and her brother, Sidney, wero callers at Mr. Hashman's Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Marsh and three children, of Alliance, returned to their home in Sioux county Monday. Mrs, Ella T.
