It became necessary to shut off the residence districts, the supply of water in tho reservoir being down to seven feet. Frederick Scott, an amateur aeronaut of Lincoln, received injuries which physicians fear will result fatally. He Lad made an ascent of about 500 feet, when the balloon began to collapse.
