For some time past the Dennett Com pany of Omaha have been looking around in this part of the west for a location-as a piano distributing point for western Ne braska, Wyoming and the Black Hills region of South Dakota. It Is not sur prising to us that they selected Alliance but is nevertheless very pleasing. Wm. Robinson, general manager, and H. H' Rhodes, special representative, were in Alliance this week completing arrange-( meats. They expressed themselves as , being highly pleased with this city. j A deal was made with W. D. Rvimer for 1 'the lease of the store room owned by him on -Box. Butte avenue, secotu'.door north of Montana street, for a western branch In Nebraska. The Bennett Company's piano department is recognized as one of the largest west of Chicago and their line ot pianos comprise many of the leading makes of the country. The store is being entirely remodeled and when completed will be perhaps the most complete and up-to-date piano houses in the state outside of Omaha. W. C, English, who has been connected with the company for some time has been appointed terrjtorinl manager, and will have several road men under his super vision who wilt travel from this branch.
