HERE is one store that puts the same enterprise and
effort into its boys' department as into its men's;

pays $5 for a garment as the man who spends $-50 in
the same length of time. Our principle is: "Never
let up until each customer has found the one garment
more satisfactory than any other in the store." It's a

A matter relative to vacating Railroad

opening another street farther north
came up before the city council last
night. The Hurlington railroad com
pany desires to make changes in location
of freight depot and trackage since the
building of the new passenger station
which it further intends to beautify by
laying out parks on either end. Prop
erty owners west of the light plant do
not wish to make some of the changes
desired by the company and for the
further discussion of the proposition the
Commercial club will meet with the
council tomorrow (Friday) evening in
the city hall. It is a matter of interest
to all citizens and taxpayers and The
Herald is requested by Mayor Smith to
urge everyone to attend.

might culminate in a lynching, and
hence he was brought to this county
for protection. Sheriff Mote returned
