Alliance has a new institution in the way of a general hospital, which has recently been opened in the new build ing belonging to John Krause, at 321 Wyoming avenue and will be known as the Alliance Hospital. The building is new and complete in every respect, never having been occupied before. It is fitted with steam heat, electric lights, bath, toilet, operating room, office and reception rooms. , The hospital will be under the con trol of the Alliance physicians absolute ly and will have no other interests represented other than those of mutual good to physician and patient, no idea of financial gain being entertained, in fact the physicians have subscribed liberally in order to have the ndvantace of a public hospital. The institution will be presided over by a staff of Al liance physicians, including the names of I)i s. Howman, Mitchell, Hellwood, Hand, Copsey, Slagle and Weber, while a local staff composed of practi tioners in the immediate vicinity and having the names of Dr. Willis of Marsland, Dr. Harr of Hyannis, Dr. jc;ties of nature's grandeur so abundant Walker of Mullen, Dr. Little of Hem-; :n t)iat art 0f ,ne we8ti wj,ie ti, nlen ingford, Dr. Palmer and Dr. Anderson j f0lks, Messrs. Uirdsell, W. D. and Hud Hon which is consistent with the keep ing of the true medical profession. The physicians have been anticipat ing a new hospital under control of the Sisters and have been anxious not to precede them by anything which might interfere with their plans, but rather have been putting up with present con ditions and hoped to lend their com bined efforts in order to make it n suc cess when the Sisters did build, Indications of immediate action seem Jottbtful and all things Considered, the physicians have concluded to arrange one of their own for the present or un til a permanent building is erected and origiilal plans carried out. The hospital will be open to all ethi cal practitioners of medicine, and pa tienf may be attended by any physi cianlthey may choose. The public is invited to visit the hospital at any time which will be in charge of a matron, who will be glad to extend every courtesy possible. Gone After Big Game. Superintendent J. C. Hirdsell and W. D. Kilmer accompanied by their families departed Tuesday noon on 43 for a two weeks' trip to the Big Horn country, their first slopping place be ing Lodge Grass. They occupied Mr. Birdsell's private car and were prepar ed for a trip in the wilds or that coun try for two weeks. The women folks will enjoy the pleasures of mountain trout tislnug anil visiting the many GOVERNMENT, STATE, COUNTY, CITY AND SCHOOL DEPOSITORY of Bridgeport, will add to its efficiency. A number of piominent physicians throughout the state, including Dr. Al lison and others, will make up a con sulting staff.
