ANNOUNCEMENT OF
ALLIANCE HOSPITAL
New Home for the Sick and Maimed
Ready for Reception in Commod
ious and Comfortable Quarters.
Alliance has a new institution in the
way of a general hospital, which has
recently been opened in the new build
ing belonging to John Krause, at 321
Wyoming avenue and will be known as
the Alliance Hospital. The building
is new and complete in every respect,
never having been occupied before. It
is fitted with steam heat, electric lights,
bath, toilet, operating room, office and
reception rooms. ,
The hospital will be under the con
trol of the Alliance physicians absolute
ly and will have no other interests
represented other than those of mutual
good to physician and patient, no idea
of financial gain being entertained, in
fact the physicians have subscribed
liberally in order to have the ndvantace
of a public hospital. The institution
will be presided over by a staff of Al
liance physicians, including the names
of I)i s. Howman, Mitchell, Hellwood,
Hand, Copsey, Slagle and Weber,
while a local staff composed of practi
tioners in the immediate vicinity and
having the names of Dr. Willis of
Marsland, Dr. Harr of Hyannis, Dr. jc;ties of nature's grandeur so abundant
Walker of Mullen, Dr. Little of Hem-; :n t)iat art 0f ,ne we8ti wj,ie ti, nlen
ingford, Dr. Palmer and Dr. Anderson j f0lks, Messrs. Uirdsell, W. D. and Hud
Hon which is consistent with the keep
ing of the true medical profession.
The physicians have been anticipat
ing a new hospital under control of the
Sisters and have been anxious not to
precede them by anything which might
interfere with their plans, but rather
have been putting up with present con
ditions and hoped to lend their com
bined efforts in order to make it n suc
cess when the Sisters did build,
Indications of immediate action seem
Jottbtful and all things Considered, the
physicians have concluded to arrange
one of their own for the present or un
til a permanent building is erected and
origiilal plans carried out.
The hospital will be open to all ethi
cal practitioners of medicine, and pa
tienf may be attended by any physi
cianlthey may choose.
The public is invited to visit the
hospital at any time which will be in
charge of a matron, who will be glad
to extend every courtesy possible.
