McClellan, who has served the Elk Valley church during the past two years as pastor, has ten dered his resignation, to take effect July 24th. His resignation has been .icceptcd by the church. He will preach at Ell- Valley on Sunday, July 17th and July 21th, both morning and evening. Rtv. McClellan has been offered several large and important charges, ooth in the Friends church, and in two other denominations. He was ill erect the superintendency of a large district in one of these large denomination?. He has finally de cided to accept a call to the Friends hurch at Milo, Iowa. He has served his excellent church as pastor upon wo different occasions, covering a period of several years, having built his church up from a very small church to a large and influential one. Since leaving this charge at the close of lis second pastorate twelve yearh igo, he has had three calls from the ame chinch to return .is their pastor tgain. Early last May he received lie fourth call from this church, igned by the entire church member hip, as well as the business men of the town and all the people of the community. He returns to a section of country vherc- he has served five different churches during the past sixteen cars, so it will be like going "back lome" to the McClellan family.
