tliousands of Tanlnc agents scattered
throughout every state of the Union
and throughout Canada, but to the
millions who have used it beneficial
ly as well.
Tho new building occupies 00,000
square feet of door space. It is six
stories in height, practically fire
proof throughout, and is of striking
architectural design. It also has
private railway facilities.
This beautiful new structuro now
stands in striking contrast beside the
older building where Tanlac was first
made.
Visitors to the laboratories aru
strongly impressed with tho extreme
ly modern character of tho equip
ment. Everything is provided and
splendidly arranged to promote sys
tematic and rapid production. Tho
very latent machjnory and devices
known, to invention and pharmaceu
tical Science are here used.
The interior throughout is imished
in spotless white, and all of the large
foicu of employees wear while uni
forms, which thoy aro required to
change dally. Tho main offices on
thu first lloor are all finished in Car
am marble and mahogany,
The entire of process of manufac
ture Is conducted under absolutely
sanitary conditions. Even the bot
tles made uxpressly to contain Tanlac
aru washed and sterilized electrically
by the ultra violet ray process. They
are then filled by automatic machin
ery and tho finished 'product is there
fore never touched by human hands.
When Tanlac was introduced into
Canada history repeated itsuil, and
thu dumand which had been created
in tho United Stntes was quickly du
plicated In the Dominion Provinces.
As a result, It was recently found
necessary to establish another Tanlac
Laboratory at Windsor, Canada, which
is on a somewhat smaller scale than
tho plant at Dayton, but is no less
niodernly equipped.
These new facilities give a daily
capacity of aG.OOO bottles, but as Tan
lac is rapidly being Introduced Jnto
foreign countries it Is probably only
a question of a few years befoie even
large facilities will become necessary.
While tho manufacturers arc neces
sarily working for capacity product
ion, it is n fundamental rule of the
Tanlac Laboratories that the quality
of the medicine shall never be sacri
ficed to secure quantity output.
Uniform qunlity is guaranteed by
a series of careful inspections by ox
port chemists, from thu time the
roots, herbs and harks aro received
in their rough state from all parts
of the globe until their medicinal
properties have been extracted by
the most approved processes. The
finished medicine is then bottled, la
beled, and shipped out to the tens
above described real estate, which
has been set for hearing on the DOtli
