cent to the Burlington lines through Wyoming, Western Ne
braska, Northeastern Colorado or Southern Montana? I can
.put you in touch with excellent prospects in any of thesesec-
tions. Mondell hinds are going fastso are the irrigated lands.
Deeded lands in western Nebraska are steadily increasing in
value. The towns of the North Platte Valley and the Big
Horn Basin arc- nil growing and offer good business chances.
The oil industry of Central Wyoming and the Big Hoin Basin
is very extensive. All this new money is greatly widening the
scope of business openings. The Burlington now has through
service between Nebraska and Casper, Central Wyoming via
Alliance and Wendover.
If you have before you the problem of the future, either
for yourself or for your sons, let me help you.

Kansas City,
Mo., Juno I. Pna-
tor Ilusscll hero
today addressed
lnrgc audiences of
Ulblo Studcns.
We report ono of
bis discourses. In
this ho declares
tho bell of the Bi
ble a totally differ
ent ono from the
bell of the Dark
Ages, which, he
said, still casts a
gloom over the masses and binders a
proper appreciation of the Divine, char
actcr re Love and JusUce. He took a
comblnaUon text; O Sbeol hell, I
will be thy destruction!" (flosea. 13:14.)
"O Hades bell, where Is tby victory?"
1 Corinthians 15:55.
My text, said the Pastor, teaches that
Jesus will destroy the hell of theBi
ble tho state of deatb. Ho will do this
by delivering all mankind from death
by the resurrection. Thus ultimately
He will gain His great victory over
sin and death, and deliver humanity
from their power. No ono but Jesus
can do this. Hence we must wait for
the appointed time tho establishment
of the Messianic Kingdom. Meantime,
It is ours to batter down tho hell of
torment which for centuries has trou
bled God's saints, and turned the
hearts of many from their Creator.
Tho Pastor dealt some vigorous blows
at the doctrine ho condemned. They
were not blows of anger nor of senti
ment, but of logic and of Scripture.
His opponents aro comparatively fow,
ho said, and oi two classes: Some are
good and honest, but Ignorant Others,
thoroughly informed, no more believe
In a hell of torture than does tho Pas
tor, but dodgo tho question and give
tho impression that they believe it so
as to hoodwink tho people, and keep
them in darkness on a subject of most
yltal importance to human happiness
now and throughout eternity.
Tho masses of Christian ministers are
educated. Preachers in general know
well that tho Bible does not teach a
hell of torture that tho words Sheol,
Hades, Gehenna and Tartarus do not
signify a place of torture, where all
except tho saintly will eternally suffer.
These ministers do not como forth into
tho open with mo to battle the error,
presumably becauso they do not real
ize, with us. that thlB terrible blas
phemy against the Divine character
lies at the bottom of nearly all tho god
Iessness and tho growing unbelief in
the Divine "Word now prevalent To
mo it is evident, said the Pastor, that
reverence toward God and faith in the
Bible cannot bo restored until this
great Moloch of false teaching be de
molished. This explains my zeal In
exposing the errors of tho past, and
for tho revealmcnt of. the truth on the
.subject of future punishment
The Pastor did not on this occasion
attempt explanations of tho three or
four parables, which, by mistransla
tions, misunderstandings and Interpola
tions, havo been znado to support the
God-dishonoring doctrine that eternal
torture Is. the wages of sin, la contra
diction of tho Biblo statement, "Tho
wages of sin Is death." Ho contented
hlmBelC with reminding, bis hearers
that he had already preached on the
parable of "The IUcu Man and Laza
rus," of "Tho Sheep and tho Goats,"
and the Lord's statement, "Where their
worm dleth not and their fire is not
quenched;" and from tho Revelation,
about tho devil, tho beast and tho falao
prophet being cast Into torment To
those who havo neither heard nor read
his sermons on tbeso subjects, ho offer
ed to send bis vlows In printed form,
freo upon postcard application.
The Qod of All Qrace.
Tho God of tho Biblo, said tho Pas-
tor, is such a ono as every human
heart needs and craves. Ho is a God
of sympathy and .love, respecting
whom It Is declared' that Ho looked
down from His holy habitation and be
held, and beard tho groaning of tho
prisoners. (Psalm 102:10, 20.) "Thon
Ills own Arm brought salvation." (Isa
iah 03:5.) Tho groaning of tho pris
oners was not in Bomo far-away fur
nace, but here on earth in overy
home. Our race groans becauso we
aro slaves of sin, and Bin is pamg us
tho prescribed penalty death.
Jesus' work at the First Advent was
only preparatory, nis death was nec
essary as tho corresponding prlco for
tho sin of Adam. Only by paying that
penalty could Ho obtain tho right to
destroy the prison-house of death and
deliver tho prlsSnors by a resurrection
from the dead, nis work was satis
factory. Ho ascended to tho right
hand of God, whero Ho awaits the
hour when no shall take His gTeat
power uud reign.
Then tho light of tho knowlcdgo of
God shall fill tho earth. All will have
fullest opportunity for return to God,
and only the willingly disobedient will
