and the oldest is recovering from

canoer was removed from his lower
lip.... Mrs J Y Gorham is quite sick at
her home at this writing. Miss Mable
Miles who is working at the Uorham

bers of the Gorham family are also

fering with the grip the past week and
has been confined to his home. It

held in Homer last Friday evening a
resolution was passed instructing Man
ager Davis to buy grain and hogs from
stockholders only. This order to go

and relatives were present.
J W Hazlegrove returned Satuidny
from Dauton, South Dakota, wheie he
spent Christmas with his daughter, Mrs
Fred Cornell. Mr Hazlegrove says that
that section had been visited by a heavy
snow and he was somewhat surprised
to find S uth bioux City without snow

grove realizes that the weather man was
not slighting us.

washing machines, one of them new; six bushels of Silver Mine
seed corn, best quality; 80 chickens laying hens and pullets;
about twelve thoroughbred white and barred Plymouth Rock
roosters; one coop of White Leghorns; corn in crib; fodder
bound with baling wire.
