One of the import ant features of the program for the evening was a debate on the question, "Resolved, that a Negro Y. M. C. A. is more advantageous thun a similar organization." Both the negative and the affirmative put forth good afgu ments which so successfully counter acted each other that the debate was decided a tie. Future activities wen5 also discussed, among them being a proposed debate with Lincoln Literary Society.
