Tbe educational committee has pro
vided for evening classes in gym
nasium. millinery, sewing, cooking
and current topics. Many persons
have asked for special classes, hut up
to date only a very few have regis
tered. If you wish to avail yourself
of these opportunities, please register
at tbe Y. W. C. A. Center, -Twenty
second and Grant streets, this week.
The girls' reserve groups are grow
ing and the girls seem very enthusias
tic over the program. They are learn
ing how- to conduct a meeting and to
discuss subjects intelligently.
The Blue Triangle girls entertained
their mothers Wednesday evening
with a very interesting program and
luncheon. Several mothers were pres
ent and enjoy ed the evening. The girls
were indeed happy.
The girl reserve group which meets
on Thursday afternoon selected for
their name “The Premice Club.” This
is a high school group and the girls
are planning to present Interesting
programs in dramatics.
Mrs. Forrest Gant served ice cream,
cake and coffee at the Y. W. C. A.
! Center Saturday and Sunday evenings,
j the proceeds of which is to be used
j toward the purchase of a Victrola for
j the recreation room. The amount of
I I2L23 was realized. Mrs. Gant wishes
1 to express her appreciation to the
i many patrons and to thank the friends
for their liberal donations and assist
ance.
The Association appreciates this ef
fort and interest shown to help make
the Center attractive. Let us all ren
der a service.
The Swastika Racket club breezed
I in Wednesday evening after a joily
; sieigh ride and were served with
j sandwiches and cocoa. Breeze in
again, we enjoy having you visit the
Center.
