The meetlnfc wax held in Zion Rap ♦ 1st ehureh and -was called to order at 2:45 p. m. by Mr. William Woods president of the Lincoln branch. After the rendition of a splendid hut nil too short program the body was J organized into a temporary organiza tion. Henry W. Black, president of tilt , Omaha branch was elected chairman and Miss Nina Scott, president of the Beatrice branch, was elected secre tary. Resolutions, were lead by Delegate John R. Lemma of Omaha. These were discussed by the members and adopted and referred to the legal re dress committee with instructions to present them to the legislature tft the earliest possible moment. The spacious auditorium of the church "'as filled to overflowing with a very enthusiastic audience who lis tened attentively to the several ad dresses by the delegates. The dele gates were royally entertained by the Lincoln branch. Nine new members were secured for i the branch following an impassioned i appeal by Rev. James A. Harris of | Omaha.
