Church will give a reception in honor of the captains and members of the $500 campaign Monday eve, May 15, at which time the cards will be turned in and hand some prizes awarded. The $500 cam paign closes Sunday, May 20. The missionary society planned $500 in five months and feel sure that the amount will be laid on the altar May 20. Marshal Thomas Flynn to assist in the conveyance of prison ers to the Federal prison. Mr. Bu ford is the first colored man in the state of Nebraska to serve in such a capacity.
