months. Sho has been touring the eastern states in Whipple Bros.

Tho first bi-monthly social of tho Capital City Cycling club was
held at tho club rooms Wednesday evening. Tho ladies ideal mando
lin club rendered several selections and high live was indulged in
by a number of ladies and gentlemen.

church Thursday evening.

The ladies of the Presbyterian church gave a very pleasant social
at the home of Mr. aud Mrs. McCreery on Friday evening. The
rooms were well filled the entire evening. Several musical selections
were rendered and ices were served by a number of young ladies.
Congressman Hainer was a guest at the Lindell during the week.

The Delian society of the state university gave a musicale in the
chapel Thursday evening.
