made by Florence c. Botafonl and Ulysses S. Rots
ford, dated September 29th, 18X to secure the pay
ment of a promissory note of said Florence c. Hots

On which there is now due J9T3, with interest from
the 15th day of March, 1894, at ten percent, per
annum.
Plaintiff prays for decree of foreclosure and sal
of said lots to satisfy said lien as aforesaid, for

Marcus Younker vs. John Burshek et al.
John Burshek and Annie Burshek non
resident defendants, will take notice that
on January 30, 1894, Marcus Younker,
plaintiff herein, filed his petition in the
district court of Lancaster County, Ne
braska, against said John Burshek and
Annie Burshek and others as defendants,
the object and prayer of which are to fore
close a certain mortgage executed by said
defendants, John Burshek and Annie Bur
shek to the defendant, Louie Mever, and
duly assigned by said Louie Meyer to the
plaintiff, which assignment was duly re
corded in the office of tiie register of deeds
of Lancaster county, Nebraska, on the 7th
day of March, 1SD1 and said mortgage was
upbn the following described premises to
wit: Lots four (4) and five (5) of the Lin
coln Land company's sub-division of Iota
eleven (11) and twelve (12) in block one
hundred and three (103), in the city of Lin
coln, Lancaster county, Nebraska, to secure
the payment of one promissory note of one
thousand ($1,000) dollars, dated March 4,
181)1, and due and payable on March 1,
1894, that there is low due and payable
upon said note and mortgage the sum of
one thousand and ninety-live (f 1,095) dol
lars, for which sum and interest from this
date at 10 per cent per annum, plaintiff
prays for a decree that defendants be re
quired to pay the same, or that said prem
ises may be sold to satisfy the amount
found due.
You and each of you are required to an
swer said petition on or before the 23d day
of April, 1894.

Proposals for Printing.
Bids will be received by the state board
of printing at the office of the secretary of
state on or before 2 o'clock p. m., March 22,
1894, for printing and binding in paper fif
teen hundred (1,500) copies of vol. 1, series
2, of the publications of the Nebraska state
historical society, in accordance with the
following specifications:
The volume shall be printed and bound in
four separate parts, as a quarterly, each part
containing either C4 or 80 pages, at the
option of the society. The quality and
weight of paper, the quality of the press
work, size of page, type and margins shall
be the same as in volume HI of the society's
"Transactions and Rejiorts." to be seen in
the office of the secretary of state. The type
shall be small pica, and the quality of paper
for covers 501b. The first part shall be
printed within CO days, and the succeeding
parts at intervals of not more than 90 days.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a
bond in the sum of 8500.
Right is reserved to reject any and all
