May deliveries In all markets went out today at the lowest nrlcra In munihs. Kleventh-hour liquidation waa on heavily and tha finish was a great disappoint ment lo holdrra of alt grama. May trades in all ina leading markeia were act tied at tha last without any defaults and by ilellvrrlra of tho cash grain In larger volume than tlus aver been known In May, which la the heaviest trading future of the year. The delivery of 49.661.000 hushes In Chicago, Winnipeg, Minneap olis, Kansas Cily and St. liuls for tha month ahowed yhst is behind the future delivery of grain trading. In Chicago alone the deliveries Aggregated $30,0.12, 00(1 bushels of which I3.766.O00 bushels were whest, while Winnipeg delivered 11.493.000 bushels of wheat. Selling of May wheat was scattered, snd while aome good-slr.ed lots came at times, the bulk was by amsll holders. Buying in the main was by Armour Grain company and J. Rosennaum drain com psny. At one time Msy was 1 o under July, showing a break of 31 4c from the high point two weeks ago and 33 c from the high of the sesson, and only 12c above the lowest of the season, which was made In the first week last November. For the season the range of May wheat was $1.03 to 11.41. Foreigners .were reported after offer ings of old crop No. 2 hard winter from Chicago late today, with Indications that some business might be put through. It would not be surprising to see cash wheat quoted at a good premium over the July, as millers are expected to want considera ble quantities and may have to compete with foreigners in order to secure It.
