Warranty Approved.
The following warranty has been
approved by the tire manufacturers
division of the Rubber Association
of America, ne.
"We do not guarantee pneu
matic automobile tires for any
specific mileage, but every pneu
matic automobile tire bearing our
name and eria! number h war
ranted by us to be free from de
lects in workmanship or material.
"Tires claimed to be defective
will be received only when all
transportation charges are prepaid,
and when accompanied by this
company's claim form, duly filled
out and signed by owner. If, upon
examination, it is our judgment
that the direct cause of the failure
of' the tire to render satisfactory
service is attributable to faulty
material or workmanship we will,
at our option, either repair the tire
or replace it for a charge of which
:' will compensate for the service
rendered by the returned tire,
based npon its general appearand

Air Leaks and Mixfirinz.
- Air leaks are a common cause of
. misfiring-, though they are often
' overlooked. A worn valve guide al-
' lows enough air to be sucked into
-the cylinders to cause misfiring, and
it also permits oil to leak out If

fair to assume that excess air is
being injected into the fuel charges.
