In Memoriam
President Harding has proclaimed that the
nation observe a country-wide silence at noon on
Armistice Day. This will mean 11a. m., Omaha
time.
In memory of our soldier dead, in appreciation
of the bravery of the men and women who served
our country in the world war in observing this
nation-wide period of thought, of silence and of
prayer. '

At two minutes after 11, the close of this
period of silence, our national anthem will be
played.
A Concert: the War Songs of Our Allies
From 11:15 until 1 o'clock, a full nine-piece
orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Robert Cus
caden, will give a concert, when the national
hymns of our allies will be played, together with
"Tipperary," "Over There." and those many war
songs which carry such thrills and heartaches, full
of the memories of those glorious and terrible
days.
As a Recognition of Service,
War Service Certificates
have been issued by the state, signed by the gov
ernor and the adjutant general, to all men and
women of Nebraska who served under our colors
during the world war. To Burgess-Nash has been
given the privilege of distributing these certifi
cates to all those from Douglas county whose
names begin with the letter B.
Please ask for these certificates at any time
after Armistice Day at the "Ask Jr. Fester" In
formation Bureau, on the Third Floor.
