pretty, appealed yesterday to the
World War Veterans and the Ameri
can Legion for assistance on ac
count of the detention of her hus- , .:
band, who is held as a material wit
ness in the Frank Fogg murder
case. .
Ryan is an ex-service man and is
being held as a state's witness against
John T. Saxton. Msr. Ryan stated
that one hotel is holding her bag
gage for a bill she owes and another
hotel has ordered her to leave unless
she pays a bill of $16.

F. Payne. 21. arrested in Kansas
Citv. is not the man suspected of
being the "human fly" burglar want
ed in Omaha.
Pavne was arrested on lniorma-
tion furnished by his wife, who if
said to have Riven the Kansai City
police the names of two alleged ac
complices with whom her husband
was associated in umana. Mrs.
Payne also 'said her husband and pals
operated a messenger - office in
Omaha.
