Spouse. , Mrs. Edna Braley, until last Sun ; day Miss Edna Robinson, one of two , sisters to figure in a double marriage ceremony on that day, Thursday in j district court filed euit for divorce j . from John Braley, to whom she was j married at the same time that her j sister, Alice,; wtd 'Herman H. , Mohring. The couples were married ; by Rev. II. H. Tancock of Trinity j Cathedra!. . And thus does the romance of both , sides of a double marriage go fading j into the land of regrets, even as the : soao bubble bursts'vhen it attains its ; most magnificent beauty! Tor Mrs. Edward M. Robinson mother of the two girls, and Mrs Alice Mohring. as plaintiffs. Wednes day filed suit for aunullment of Alice's marriage. Mrs. Robinson says that her daughter was but 14 years old at the time of her marriage and that Mohring' misrepresented this fact wheit he told Marriage License Clerk Fuiyiy that his bride-to-be was 18 year old. - Induced Through Fraud. . The latest 'petition, filed by Edna, the elder; daughter who is 24 years old, alleges that through fraud and false stat.ments as to his name, iden tity, character and property therein made to 'her by Braley, she was in duced to Starry him. She alleges she learned of his fraudulent representa tion soon after the marriage, which knowledge has destroyed her hap pines' and she seeks divorce. 'My daughters were forced into this marriage by fear," the mother, Mrs. Robinson, says. "My , girls, both of whom I have used the utmost care in raising, are entirely unianiinar with worldly affairs-and when the two young meji -proposed marriage they arranged it so that my daugh ters would be afraid to tell their mother of the plans." Mrs. Robinson says that she al lowed her daughters to go out with Mohring and Braley Sunday after- : noon, ostensibly to attend a moving picture show. .She says that the four young people started out in an auto mobile and drove instead to the min- . istcr.
