still in storage cellars in western Ne-

production and sale of poor quality
potatoes. Nebraska growers must im
prove the quality of their potatoes in
order that they will pass government
inspection that is, come within
grades one and two, and also is order
that they can compete with other
states.

Brown county, representing shipments
of 150 cars last fall, are planning to
give up potato raising unless more
grades are established which are fair
to the farmer. Something must be
done and that quick if you want spuds

find a market next year. '
Scores of telegrams have "been seat

food administrators, asking for infor
mation on the situation, and asking
