day the Boston wool trade acted on the
report of the special oommlttee which had
conferred with the war Industries board,
and In which it waa announced that the
government would receive the voluntary
offer of the trade to turn over all of Us
wool at July 10 prices, In lieu of which
offer the wool would be commandeered.
Obviously, there wa only on thing for

larger than those of the last two days, with
II cars of wheat 111 cars of corn, II cars
of oats and two car of barley.
Corn figures were rather Irregular, some
of this cereal, practically th better grades
of whit corn, war unchanged to a cent
higher, while the yellow and mixed va
rieties were unchanged to a cant off. On
the whole ths market was generally a cent
up to a cent off. Trade was quit active,
th desired offerings going rsadlly.
Oats wer unchanged to Vic higher, th
bulk of th No. 1 whit bringing Vio ad
vance. Standard oats sold at 86o and th
No. 3 while at 66Vitf36c. No. 4 white
brought 84H036Vic while the sampl grade
went at sv,e.
Rye took a jump of lOo per bushel, while
marley showed sn Increase of 4Sf6o. No.
