In State Tennis
Superior,' Neb., July 25. (Special
Telegram.) For the first time in
many years Omaha will not be the
home of the winner of the Nebraska
state tennis tourney. This became
certain when A. Strehlow oj the Field
club fell before Charley Mathewson
of Walthill in a forty-four game
match at Superior this morning.
It was very hot and the pace was
.terriUc. The end found both men
somewhat shaky.' It was a battle
royal in the blistering sun and lasted
nearly three hours, practically every
game going repeatedly to deuce.
Sleeper of Omaha took the first
set, 8-6, from Eddie Gcesen." univer
sity champion, but was unable to win
another set. McKillip of Seward and
I'roud of Arapahoe fought nip and
tuck for three sets, also Laugenberg
put away Arthur Strehlow in the last
match for the third round after some
nice tennis on the part of both.
No faster tennis has been seen on
any courts in this region. .
To the huge delight of all spec
tators, Ralph Boone Oliver, 10-year-ohl
local lad, disposed of . his oppo
nent in the first round of the junior
singles for the Davies cup in a three
set match. He later got four games
from K. E. Clarke, who yesterday
forced Mathewson to three sets.

trouble and money.
It is undoubtedly true that
the careless way in which many
people treat Catarrh, in its ear

you might have been spared
your present suffering.
