E. "M. Meyer, buyer for the Berg
Clothing company, has returned from
the eastern markets. Mr. Meyer re
ports that the war scare is not being
taken seriously.
The ever-increasing business of the
ladies' department of the Ber(y store
has necessitated adding a millinery
department, which will be under the
firm's own management and will be
ready for business about March 1.

steady. Prices opened at an advance of
