Th demand for cash wheat was excel
lent today and, upported by a ftront fu
ture market, the raib article sold from 2Hc
to 3 Ho higher. The receipts of this cereal
today were comparatively Ucht and, al
though prlcea were extremely high, the de
mand would eaeily have taken care of much
heavier receipts.
The high price for the day on hard win
ter wheat waa paid for a car of No. 1
wheat, which sold at 1 H9.
The average rlce for No. t hard waa
$1.67 l.&h and the No, 1 hard ranged In
price from ll.fi63l.fc7H
Bales of No. 4 and sample hard wht-at
were comparatively light, the No. 4 selling
01.49.
from l.t.4M.e. and the simple at I1.4T.
There were several sampler of durum
and mixed wheat on the t a bleu. The beet
grades of durum wheat sold at 1.0 and
tile mixed wheat of the same grade sold at
I1.6SV
The corn market was a trifle Irregular,
the white declining a cent and the mixed
advancing- c.
Receipts of this cereal were light and the
demand was fairly active.
The premium on white corn was some
what narrower, but this variety continued
to sell J He abovs the yellow corn of the
same grade.
Oat wro In good demand at much bet
ter prices, the market being quoted lc
higher.
There was an excellent trade In this ce
real and although recelpta were quite heavy
the samples were easily disposed of at the
prevailing prices.
The demand for rye was quite aetlve, the
No. I grade selling at 11, 10 and the
No.-1 at 11.11 "ri-
There waa a fairly active trade In bar
ley and this cereal sold at practically un
changed prices.

with Philadelphia leading, 2 to 1, and
