Chancellor Sam uel Avery of the University of Nebraska, tonight received a telegram from Pasa dena, Cal., inviting him to permit the Nebraska foot ball team to go to Pasa dena te meet a representative eleven of the Pa oil to coast for a game on New Tear's day. The University of Washing ton was suggested as the probable coast team. The telegram was sent by C R. Weldon, president of the Southern California Uni versity of Nebraska olub, acting for the Pasadena committee. Chancellor Avery did not Indicate what probable action would be taken.
