of the recent engagement between an
Italian-and an Austrian submarine. In
wnlch the Italian boat was vanquished.
This Is the first time In history that an
encounter between undersea . boats has
been recorded. ,
The Italian boat Medusa, with a crew
of fourteen men, was Ivlng submerged.
Th Austrian boat was not far away
and also under water. Neither one had
any Intimation of th presents of th
other.
