future, it looks as If the demand la
urgent. From their point of view pea'
will not be declared very soon and It ap
pears that there will be an exceptional
demand for breadstuffs
Not only Great Britain, but the other
allien, am In the market tor August
wheat. Their purchases are estimated
at about 400,000 bushels. Russia Is about
the only warring nation that has supplies
ot foodstuffs ample to Isst for some
time.
The corn and oats markets are both
strong. The sdvance In corn a sur
prise to both bulls snd bears, ss the May
delivery was quite strong and lha buying
was mainly by commission houses, al
