Mr. Gurdon W. Wattles has a favorite newsboy whom be makes
usually happy at each Yuletlde. Just as regularly as clock work,
Christmas morning finds Mr. Wattles bound for the city, to favor this
little youngster.
, Mr. Gould Dietz Is the City Mission's Santa Claus, and always makes a
visit there as a part of his Christmas day celebration.
Every one knows of Mr. W. Farnam Smith's kindness on Christmas
day to little Luna, tbe one-time pathetic case at Clarkson hospital. Her
room there was always filled with toys and sweetmeats of all svria, Ad
usually the day ended with a long ride Into the county, wh was
Klloaed to' Invite a number of her friends to go along with her. Just
who has taken little Luna's place In Mr. Smith's Christmas benefactions he
very modestly refuses to say.
