According to cable advice from Bnrnos
Ay res the harvesting of wheal will be
cotnnienced in the northern part ol Ar
gentlna this morning, the harvesting of
this grain will be general next month
there, and that a big movement la prom
ised for eariy January, as well aa Feb
ruary and the laier months. According
to an estimate published by the Liver
pool Corn Trade- News the yield of wheat
In that country will be larger than last
year, when it was 132,000.000 bushes. In
ISM'.' It was 198.4(W.flno bushels.
Many complaints are coming from the
state of Kansas of a lack of moisture.
One of the larger concerns In the trade
with branches all over the state says
that whether there has been ilaimiKO to
the growing crop up to the present time
or hot the opinions are divided. From
the manner in which the receipts ol
wheat at St. Units and Kansas City con
tinue to increase there is litile fear of
$5 per month. I crop losses In Kansas. Those markets
received iH.OnO bu. Jointly on Saturday.
. .'compared with ICS bo for the corre
sponding day a year ago. Receipts of
wheat from July I to date at primary
markets were 2.i, 445,000 bu., against L7,
iU0 bu. a year ago.
The export trade m oats has fallen off
somewhat, but tills was caused partially
by the fact that foreigner have lim
amounts of that grain going to them and
they are anxloua to clean up part of these
offerings before they make additional
fuither ri'1'chuses except on the soft
spots. Week's receipts were S.92S.OOO hush
els, ugalnst 3,75s 'Km husheia one year ago.
and since August l these shipments wire
12i.n00,iio" bushels, against 9ii."o0,0o0 bush
els a year ago.
W ith 11. e opening of the stock yards
1 today and a hog market on which to do
; business in the provision pit an ihe RoArd
j of Trade, additional activity is 1 .ve.'ied.
j The t ush trade in hug products has In en
I larger than generally known, and a sroat
ideal of this ia being used in the way of
I thipliicrils abroad.
W heat was 'o to 4c higher.
' Corn wa li- to 34c lower.
i 'Ola were unchanged to Uc lower.
There is little doubt but what the ex
port trade in wheat will continue on an
enormous scale in tuct, up to the offer
ings for Immediate and future shipment,
aii well aa up to the ocean freight loom
availaule. The beais In wheat will talk
more or less of the Amentum crop being
of the United Status,
