the entire route, both pitching elegant
ball and receiving splendid support. Bell
contributed the stellar fielding feature on

Lincoln rcored two In the first on two
doubles, an error and a walk. Omaha got
1 one In the seventh on Thomas' walk, a
bad throw by Oriet on Schllcbner's
grounder and Blackburn's bad chuck to
w second.

McGafflgans infield hit and Krueger's
m. muff of Blackburn's long fly.
2 In the ninth Omaha tied It up, Thomas
singling. Schllebner doubling with two out

Both teams jogged along, the pitchers
IT tightening whenever scores threatened,
but in the eighteenth Miller opened with
a double, took third on a sacrifice and
It scored on Orlet's single:
Scoggins and Styles pitched pretty ball
in the second game, but Styles faltered
C in the fifth and Lincoln pushed the neces-
eary run over to win, it being agreed to
call the game then.
