ON PA ROURKE'S NINE
Catcher McAllister of the Topeka club
has been secured by Pa Rourke and he
is expected to report to. the local club
today. McAllister Is a veteran of many
year and he know every detail ot the
catcher's duties. He is a wonder at
developing young pitchers and he will
assist materially in steadying the Omaha
Infield.
Rourke mussed out ' on . some pending;
deals with players who were In the Union
association. It was reported the associ
ation had blown up. but on th contrary
Salt Lake City and Ogden are playing out

pretty good ball players and Rourke
would have been glad to secure a couple
of them. Th players on tho defunct
club ar not fast erfough for thl cir
cuit so Rourke will have to look else
where for strengthening material.
UNION GIANTS ARE TO

an opportunity that Manager Bradford
has made possible by booking them for

Olson and Lynch will probably be the
opposing alabsmen In Saturday's game,
with Sanders and McNair Sunday.
