month's practice over, Coach Clyde Will
lams and his Ames team Are confident of
repeating South Dakota's defeat of the
Minnesota team when they go t,o Northrup
field next Saturday. The Ames eleven
has been at work since the end of August
with a veteran aggregation and so far
everything has gone smoothly.
The line veterans, Juhl and Pfund at
guard, Hunt at tackle and McDonald at
end, are all sura df their places. The
other positions are not yet settled. Cap
tain Hurst la playing his usual steady
game at quarter, and the two halves will
