' company had all its employes together for an afternoon and
'evening of no woi'k and all picnic. At this second annual

were permitted to throw confetti right into the face of the president

so-called, tug-of-war, , with the bookkeepers; the construction men
., locked, horns with the office men in a game of base ball, and the en
tire' force of the company stood glued to Che ground watching ,with
' greatest interest-while the linemen entered into a spectacular contest
' -by teams in trimming and setting a pole and affixing the cross arm,
and .last; year rail : had the opportunity, of sticking closely under 'their
, parasols, while, they saw the sun blistering ,the face of President Yost
hi umpired the, ball, game for the boy's. ' ' '
