Spelal.)- H. 8. Elliott, a member ef the firm of Elliott. Speice. Echols ft Co., and an old pioneer settler of Platte eounty, died at t:V o'clock this morning at the Clark son hospital in Omaha. A procession of twenty-five auto, filled with Oxford automobile enthusiasts and good roads boosters, took the road toward Edison this morning to meet and greet th ten auto loads of Denver Commercial club representatives on their sociability tour from Denver to Chicago. They met the Denver people about five miles out and escorted them into town, where they wer welcomed with muelo by Farrar'a band. Though their schedule gave them only a very brief stop here, th Denver- Ites expressed the warmest appreciation of the cordial reception given them by Oxford citisens.
