of the Omsha High school, which will be
held Saturday afternoon at Cretghton
field, are announced by C. B. Reed,
athletic director.

The Miller Park Golf club will hold
its annual opening Saturday afternoon
from 1 to 4, and the various committees
are busy making preparations.
It is planned to have Mayor Dahlman
and members of tha Park Board attend
and take part In tha opening exercises,
tha mayor formally opening tha aeaaon.
There will be an address by President
Wilmoth to the club members, their fsm-
llles and frlenda. Chairman Neble of tha
park board and tha mayor will drive
the first ball in the flag contest.
The games open to all members will
Include in addition to tha handicap flag
competition:
Putting contest (for which special
grounds havp been prepared).
Lofting contest over tha lake.
Driving conteat for distance.
Ladles' . driving conteat and tennis
mstch.
Base ball match between two crack
teams from the Union Pacific headquar
ters. Prises consisting of drivers, putters,
golf and tennis balls will be awardsd
the winners of the contests. In which
all club members are eligible to partici

noon. Under Dean Tancock's coaching,
tha brawny swatters have been getting
into fine condition, and with tha (rounds
