Turn Tables on Democrats by Ma

COUNTY TICKET SWEEPS ALL
Dtnnrrttle I.eaA of 12,000 In 1010
la Reversed and Turned Into a
Republican Lead of 3,000
In 1011.
The election In Douglas county turned
ut such a victory as Is most gratifying
to the republicans. With the exception
of Fred H. Hoye, wno voi deleatsd for
the office at sheriff by Felix McShane,
Jr., the whoU county ticket li elected.
The vote was not aa heavy as had been
anticipated from the registration, falling
far short of the possible total. The short
er is noticeable In all the Omaha wards,
nd also In South Omaha,
On the jud!o:ary ticket, the republican
sndldatea are all given a most flatter
Ing endorsement. The espoctal effort
made to dofoat Jat'ge Eolelle, and e ect
Kcrloy O. Moorhrad In his place, did not
ftt very far, as the vote for Judge Estelle
la most decisive.
Tor the slat . ticket the returns are
een mors satisfactory. It amounts to a
reversal from the democratto majority in
1910 of 12,000 votes, turning It Into a re
publican majority approximately 8,000 in
