LINCOLN, May IL iSreclal.) Ths last
reports of ths university show that of
ths 4.53 students registered at the Institu

tries and only ZU frcm other states and
territories. The number of foreign stu
dents Is lower that It haa been at different
times in the past, but ths registration
from other states Is higher. Those who
enter hers froca foreign countries. It is
thought by ths school authorities, usually
register from their homes, but In the cases
ot students from other states many are
thought to register from places In this
stats merely to avoid the payment of a
n fee required by all non-resident stu
dents. There is no way of checking this falsifi
cation, and in many cases It relieves ths
students from the fee. Freshmen who come
from other states many times move to
Nebraska towns before their second regis

TONIC
Of the non-residents, seventy-five come
from Iowa, that having the largest repre
sentation of any stats. Kinsss is second,
with twenty-four, and Colorado and Mis
souri tie. with seventeen.
Thirty-one of the states and territories
The need of a tonic in the Sprin; is almost nniTersally recognized.
Bodily fatig-ne, fickle appetite, poor digestion, nerrotxsnesa, lack of energy,
etc., prove that the proper amount of notxrishcient is not belay snpplied ta
the body throtiuh the crcalation. The stomach, bowels, and digstire mem
ben are slunrish from lack of sTiTfinlatigg nutrition, and in conseq-aenre th
entire body sailers from the effects of a poorly noanshed constitution. The
use of a real blood-purifying- tonic when the system is deranged from lack cf
nourishment, will often prevent the development of some aerioos sickness,
because weak systems cannot resist disease, while healthy, well rjcunsheil
constitutions are able to ward it off. No medicine is of ralne as a tonic ex
cept one which purifies and enriches the blood, for until this isdonetit
body wi!l not receive its required stimulus and disease-resisting powers.
S. S. S. is the best Spring tonic because of its genuine ability ana worth as
a blood purifier. It builds up the depleted system in the true way, by jrtri
fyino; the blood and supplying an increased amount of noTfliabxaent to et rry
portion of the body. S. S. S. rem owes all impurities from the circulation, and
overcomes the unpleasant phvsical ailments of Spring. S. S. S. is for sal
