The Cornell musical clubs, which will
come to Omaha Derember 2t, are making
the longest trip that they have ever at
tempted. Omaha In the farthest western
point and most of the large cities between
here and Ithaca will be visited. The first
concert after leaving home was given In
Rochester, X. Y.. from .there the clubs
going to Cleveland, Chicago. Milwaukee
and then reach Omaha. From here they go
to Kansas City, Ht. Louis, Cincinnati. Pitts
burg and New York City. Kverywhere the
club are being greeted enthusiastically by
Cornall alumni and elaborate efforts are
being made to entertain them.

ance; to a suit for divorce. If she will start

tinued the case against Bchulti indefinitely
Friday morning. If Schults carries out his

it will be tried early In January.

the subject of an exhibit from the
Deschutes valley of Oregon at the Omaha
land show.
W. 8, Rodman, an Omaha real estate
agent who is leaving the Nebraska field
to grasp the opportunity of the growing
northwest, Is to put on the land show dis
play. It will be In charge of O. A. Tor
gerson, an Omaha attorney, who Is also to
leave for the northwest.
The new town of Redman Is to be the
center of the country under development.
This town will within three months be
served by both the Hill end Harrlman sys
tems. The Hill line Is all but complete.
"The Dechutes valley Is close enough to
the coast to get some of the ameliorating
Influences of the Japanese current," said
Mr. Rodman, "so we really have but little
winter. The climate la mild and temperate.
"The products of the soil there are of
wide range, including grains, grasses and
fruits. We are especially proud of the
alfalfa. The breaking up of the ranges is
.snaking land which will grow these valu-'
able feeds more valuable and there Is
every Indication that our land there will
steadily rise In value."
Redman now has a population of about
301 persons. The town Is but S years old
and In Its Infancy bears the promise of
rapid development. Cook county, In which
it Is situated, ls without saloons. As a
measure of the big way things are meas
ured out there It Is the boast of the boost
ers that their county la as big as the state
of Massachusetts.
