CONFESSES T0 UXORICIDE Pennsylvania Man Admits Ha Killed Wife and Mere and Burned Their Bodies. V TOWANDA, Ps., Feb. 7.-In court here today Bigler Johnson plesded guilty to the charge that he ' murdered his wife, Maggie Johnson, and lier niece, Annie Ben jamin, 10 jeura old. September 18, and afterward burned the bodies. The prisoner made his plea of guilty and signed the Indictment without the faintest indication of nervousness. He Is 28 years old and Ills wife was 40. At the December term his older brother, Charles Johnson, was convicted of first degree murder as an accessory and Is now awaiting argument on a new trial. His mother, Mrs. Sophia Merrltt, and his sister and brother, Nancy and Alanaoii Johnson, were put on trial for the same crime to day. The five members of the family, It Is rhurged, went to Maggie Johnson's house In the night and killed her and the little girl with an axe, sprinkled the prem ises with kerosene and set the house on fire.
