AMAZING REDUCTIONS OF J. L. BRANDEIS & SONS COLD DELAYS THE TRAINS Railways Operate with Great Caotlon Oaring- the Present Severe Weather. Despite the fact that there Is not much snow, trains from every direction are very late reaching Omaha and few of them are making any pretensions at running on schedule time. The fault Is not with the snow, but with the cold. WheelB will not take hold of the rails and It Is hard to keep up steam. Oil congeals, and this Is another drawback. At every station of any Importance a thorough and careful investi gation Is made of the passenger trains from end, to end, and this causes delay. Ma chinery does not work so well and there are other things of apparently minor im portance that are operating against the running of trains on schedule time. Marriage Licenses. The following marriage licenses were is sued up to noon January 13: Name and Residence. Age. Walter O. Welch. Kettle Falls, Wash.... 28 Kva J. Pickett, Omaha 22 Louts Frnnklln. Terry, 8.
