HOGS There was n big run of hogs here
this morning and In fact receipts were the
heaviest they have been In some time post.
That being the case there was no oppor
tunity of preventing a still further decline
of values. The demand, though, was In
good shape, so that the loss as compared
with yesterday amounted to only about 24c
and trading was active at tho decline. The
hogs began to move toward the scale at
an early hour, and It was not long before
the hulk of the offerings had been disposed
of The bulk of the heavy hogs went at
34.45. while the choicer and lighter loads
went largely at 84.474 and 14.50. As high
as 84.55 was paid for a prime load of
bnohor weights.
The latter end of the market wps
hardly as good aa the openlns and some of
the coerre. heavy packers had to sell down
to 14. 4o and 14 424. or Tc loner than hi
tame kinds brought ye-lerday. In spite
of the weak close. I hooch tvrvtMng was
sold before noon. Represents tlvo aalea:

CATTLE There was a smaller run of

Wool Market.
HOSTON. Nov. 29. WOOL Market' haa
been more quiet than In recent weeks, with
a firm tone prevalent. The quiet lone re
sults from a genuine scarcity of wool in
the grades chiefly in demand. The surplus
haa disappeared and buyers sre now seek
ing for enough wool to supply the trade
tor the rest of the year. Territory wools
have sold freely In the generally quiet mar
ket. Pulled grades are strong at advanced
prices. The foreign market Is firmer.
