redeemed under the option reserved, a nil
shall bear interest at tne rate of four and
one-half (4') per cent ptr annum, payable
semi-annually.
Thohe bonds are Issued for the purpose
of redueming 3:,000 "funding bonds'' and
$12,000 "Intersection bonds" heretofore Is
sued. ,
Second 70.000 "funding bonds," denomi
nation of 8500 or 1,000, snd numbering
from one to seventy or one hundred and
forty each, at the option of the pur
chaser, and shall bear date of December
1, 1904, and shall be due and nayable
twenty years from date, optional after five
years, and shall bear Interest at the rate
of four and one-half (4,4) per cent per
annum, payable semi-annually.
Those bonds are Issued for the purpose
of redeeming 70.000 of funding bonds of
the City of South Omaha heretofore issued.
Said bonds are general obligations of the
City of South Omaha.
Each bid shall state separately the
amount offered as principal and premium
and that accrued interest will be pali to
date of delivery and payment of bonds.
Each bid must be accompanied by a cer
tified check on a national or state hank In
the amount of 2.500 and made payable to
the City of South Omaha as evidence of
good faith on the port of the bidder.
The city council reserve the rliiht to re
ject anv and all blda and waived defects.
