to the electors of th State of Nttbraaka,
to be voted upon at the general eltotlon
to be held Tuesday, November 8, A. 1.

A bill for a joint resolution recommend
ing to the electors of the state to vote at
the next election I members of the legis
lature for or cganiBt a convention to re
vise, amend and change the Constitution
of the State ot Nebraska in accordance
with section li, article 16. of the Constitu
tion' ot the State of Nebraska.
Be it Resolved by the Legislature of th
State of Nebraska:
1. That It is deemed necessary to oall a
convention tor revise, amend and chang
the Constitution ot the Stat of Nebraska.
2. That the electors are recommended to
vote at the next olectlon ot members of
the legislature for or against a conven
tion to revise, amend and chanoe the Con
stitution of the State of Nebraska.
3. That at such next election of members'
of th legislature on the ballot of each
lector voting at such election, shall ba
printed or written In such manner that
th elector can Indlcat his preference
under the law the words' "FOR calling
a convention to revise, amccd and change
tha Constitution of the State oi Nebraska.'
and "AGAINST calling a convention to
revise, amend and change the Constitution
of the State of Nebraska;" and if a ma
jority voting at said election shall votg
for a convention, the legislature shall, at
Its next session, provide by law fur call
ing the same.

as It appears from said original bill on

braska for their adoption or rejection, at
the general election to be held on Tuesday,
