Watson, the death of whose wife July I
hua been the subject of an Investigation
by the coroner' Jury, ha been arrested
charged with the murder of hi wife.
John J Buter of Palmyra, father of Mrs.
Watson, made the affidavit.
Thla sensational turn followed the ver
dict of the coroner's Jury yesterday after
noon, after It hud deliberated 'twenty min
utes, holding that the deceased came to
her death by meana unknown to the Jury.
Dr. Watson carried Insurance amounting
to $;o.O) on the life of hla wife. In an
alleged runaway near London the doctor
asserted that she wo- thrown from the
bugcy Into Suit river, at the edge of which
she was found.
