Ttis policemen suc ceeded In rounding up as many tardy regis trars with three exceptions. In the Sixth district of the Eighth ward no revision is being held as only one supervisor Is at his lonely post of duty earning 13, and the condition cannot be remedied. One of the regular supervisors has died slnoa the last registration, another has removed from the district, and it was discovered that the man appointed In his place was not a res ident of the preclnot either. Consequently the Sixth district of the Eighth ward la not receiving Its legal rights In the matter. Another registrar declared ' bs could not work on Saturday because of religious proclivities. Borne persuasion induced him to rescind his determination, however Another man took flight to Council Bluffs, where he works, and It was net considered worth while to get out requisition papers to bring him back. A fourth supervisor had not been found at noon and a police man was hot on his trail.
